Strawberry Cheesecake Bars - cooking recipe

1 box strawberry cake mix
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 (16 oz.) box confectioners' sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 Tbsp. strawberry preserves
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13x2 inch baking pan. In large bowl, combine cake mix, pecans, butter and 1 of the eggs. Mix well and press into pan. In medium bowl, combine the remaining egg with the confectioners' sugar, cream cheese and strawberry preserves. Beat until smooth. Pour over the strawberry \"crust\". Bake for 45 minutes, until cheesecake topping is set and is lightly browned. Allow to cool completely before slicing. Cut into 1x2-inch bars.
