Old Fashioned Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. raw peanuts
Preparation
    Heat sugar, corn syrup and water in a 3-quart saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves.
    When syrup boils, blend in butter.
    Stir frequently.
    When temperature reaches 280\u00b0, add peanuts.
    Stir constantly until temperature reaches 305\u00b0, hard crack stage.
