Velvet Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    2 1/2 c. milk
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    grated nutmeg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Set out pie shell.
    In a small saucepan, scald milk over high heat; set aside.
