Nellie'S Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. whole candied cherries
    1 lb. whole pitted dates
    1/2 frozen orange juice concentrate
    1 c. whole Brazil nuts
    2 c. large whole pecans
Preparation
    Stir all dry
    ingredients
    over fruit and nuts in large bowl. Mix pure
    orange
    juice and well beaten eggs over fruit and dry ingredients.
    Blend
    thoroughly.
    Line
    loaf pans with brown paper (make 2
    small loaves or one large loaf).
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Reduce
    heat
    to 300\u00b0 and bake approximately 1 hour. When cake is cold, wrap in cheesecloth or some type of soft cloth that has been saturated in fruit brandy.
