Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 1/2 c. 3 Minute brand old-fashioned oats
    3 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    choice of Stir-In Idea (follows)
    1 (16 oz.) jar chunky peanut butter (2 c.)
    3/4 c. margarine, softened (1 1/2 sticks)
    3 c. light brown sugar
    5 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend oats, baking soda and choice of one Stir-In; set aside. In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, butter and sugar until smooth. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
    Add oats mixture and blend well.
    Drop dough from ice cream scoops or 1/4 cup measure several inches apart onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cool on a cookie sheet 5 minutes and remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
