Almond Butter Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
2 c. slivered almonds
1 large pkg. chocolate chips
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

In a cold electric skillet or similar skillet, place butter. Set at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
As butter melts, add sugar, stirring constantly until mixture bubbles on the sides.
Add cream of tartar and then almonds.
Stir constantly until caramel colored, about 12 minutes.
