Braised Beef - cooking recipe

1 1/2 to 2 lb. steak, cubed
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. butter flavor Crisco
1 small onion
1 small can mushrooms
1 can beef broth
Preparation

Buy an inexpensive cut of meat, either steak or roast.
Cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes.
Combine flour and seasoning in a Baggie. Coat the beef cubes.
Brown in a skillet with the Crisco.
Reserve remaining flour mixture.
Slice the onion and add with the mushrooms and can of beef broth.
Cover; let simmer for 1/2 hour to 1 hour.
Put flour mixture and water together, then add to the meat mixture until thickened to your taste.
Serve over homemade noodles.
