String Bean Gamurse - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. cottage ham (firm)
    fresh string beans or 2 cans cut
    2 medium onions, chopped fine
    4 large potatoes, cut in wedges
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. marjoram
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Cut up cottage ham into bite size pieces.
    Wash cottage ham thoroughly to remove any brine.
    Place in crock-pot.
    Add 4 to 5 cups of water.
    Add string beans, onions, potatoes, pepper and marjoram.
    Cook on high for 4 hours.
    Cook on low for 2 hours. Stir occasionally, then enjoy!
