Cherry Topped Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. Carnation milk
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Combine cake mix with oil (reserve 1 cup cake mix for batter) and 1 egg.
    Pat in bottom and up sides of a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan or two 9-inch pans for crust.
