Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sq. chocolate (unsweetened, dark)
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    pinch of salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Melt chocolate.
    Add sugar, milk and salt.
    Cook until soft ball stage.
    Drop 2 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla, then cool.
    Beat until creamy.
    Pour into a greased pan.
    Add 1 cup nuts, if desired.
