Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 glass Kraft Old English cheese
    1 1/2 c. Waverly wafers, crushed
    1 stick butter
    2 cans asparagus, cut
    toasted almonds
Preparation
    Make white sauce with first 4 ingredients.
    Melt cheese into white sauce. Combine crushed wafers and 1 stick of butter.
    Line a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish with wafer mixture (save some for topping).
    Combine asparagus, toasted almonds and cheese/white sauce and pour into casserole dish.
    Top with remaining wafer mixture. Bake at 450\u00b0 about 12 minutes.
