Praline Pecan Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. original Quaker Oat Squares
    2 c. pecans
    1/2 c. Karo light corn syrup
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Heat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Combine cereal and pecans in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and butter in 2-cup microwavable bowl.
    Microwave at High 1 1/2 minutes; stir. Microwave 1/2 to 1 1/2 minutes more or until boiling.
    Stir in vanilla and baking soda and pour over cereal mixture; stir to coat evenly.
    Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
    Spread on baking sheet; break into pieces.
    Makes 10 cups.
