Falafel (Chickpea Patties) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can chickpeas, drained
    1/3 c. water
    1 sliced bread, crumbled
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    3/4 tsp. salt, deland
    pepper to taste
    1/4 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. marjoram
    1 Tbsp. tahini (sesame paste)
    flour for coating
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Grind peas in meat grinder, or process in blender or food processor.
    Add all remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Form into approximately 20 balls.
    Roll in flour to coat.
    Flatten slightly. Fry in hot oil until brown on both sides.
