Six-Layered Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. peeled, sliced potatoes
    1 can kernel corn, drained
    1 sliced onion
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. sliced carrots
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
Preparation
    In 3-quart casserole, layer in order given, starting with potatoes and ending with beef.
    Salt and pepper each layer to taste.
    Pour tomatoes and juice over casserole.
    Cook, covered, in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours or until vegetables are done.
    Serve with green salad.
