Beef Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak, cut in 1-inch cubes
3 Tbsp. shortening
6 potatoes
6 small onions
1 (No. 2) can tomatoes, drained (save liquid)
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. liquid from tomatoes
1 can cream of celery or cream of mushroom soup (add 1 soup can water to flour mixture)
Preparation

Brown steak in shortening.
Place steak in 3-quart casserole. Arrange potatoes, carrots, onions and tomatoes over meat in casserole.
Add flour, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and liquid from tomatoes to shortening.
Pour over vegetables and cover.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour.
Serves 6.
