Cold Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. turmeric
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Put all in gallon jar and mix well.
    Add sliced pickles.
    Put in refrigerator for 3 days.
    Shake once a day.
