Better Than Sex Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 large box vanilla pudding
1/3 c. coconut
4 sliced bananas
8 or 9 oz. carton Cool Whip
pecans and maraschino cherries

Preparation

Bake cake according to package directions.
While it is baking, bring to a boil, 1 cup sugar and crushed pineapple.
Boil 5 minutes.
When cake is done, punch holes in cake and pour pineapple mixture over.
Let cool.
Prepare 1 large box vanilla pudding.
When ready to serve, spread pudding over cake, then sprinkle coconut over pudding; next a layer of bananas (sliced) and top with Cool Whip.
Decorate with pecans and cherries.
