Cherry Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (17 oz.) can pitted dark sweet cherries
    3 oz. pkg. cherry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
    3 oz. pkg. cherry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. cold water
Preparation
    Drain cherries; reserve 3/4 cup syrup.
    Dissolve jello in boiling water; add reserved syrup.
    Gradually add to softened cream cheese, mixing until well blended.
    Put into oiled 1 1/2-quart mold.
    Chill until almost set.
    Dissolve jello in boiling water; add cold water and chill until partially set.
    Fold in cherries.
    Pour over molded layer.
    Chill until firm.
    Unmold, surround with lettuce.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
