Lemon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. club crackers (green box)
    3 egg whites
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 cans lemon pie filling
    La Creme whipped topping (1 large or 2 small)
Preparation
    Crumble
    crackers
    and
    mix
    with melted butter.
    Press into bottom
    of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Whip the egg whites.
    Gradually pour in sugar, making a meringue.
    Pour on top of cracker mixture. Bake
    in
    350\u00b0 oven about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Meringue
    will
    fall.
    Cool.
    Put
    lemon
    pie filling, then whipped topping on baked meringue.
    Refrigerate.
