Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. plain white meal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. Crisco shortening
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Add half the milk.
Stir.
Add beaten egg.
Then rest of the milk.
Heat Crisco in iron skillet or pan.
Pour half of the melted Crisco into bread mixture.
Pour mixture in skillet or pan and cook till brown at 400\u00b0.
