Soda Cracker Pie Or Macaroon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

10 to 14 soda crackers
3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Roll crackers until very
fine.
Beat
egg whites until frothy.
Add sugar gradually
and beat until mixture stands in soft peaks.
Fold in
vanilla,
cracker
crumbs, baking powder and walnuts.
Spread evenly
in
well-greased 9-inch pie plate and bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Cool.
Serves six to eight.
