Poached Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, sliced
    3 slices lemon
    3 sprigs parsley
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. salt
    2 peppercorns
    1 lb. fish fillets
Preparation
    Heat 1 1/2-inches of water, onion, lemon, parsley, bay leaf, salt and peppercorns to boiling in a 10-inch skillet.
    Reduce heat.
    Arrange fish in single layer in skillet.
    Simmer, uncovered, until fish fillets flake easily with fork, 4 to 6 minutes.
    Makes 5 to 6 servings.
