1 - 2 - 3 - 4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. self-rising flour
    4 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well.
    Add flour and milk alternately, starting with flour and ending with flour.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
    Bake in four 9-inch pans at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
