Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
2 c. pecan halves
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine
sugar, water, cinnamon and allspice in a large saucepan.
Cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add
pecans
and continue cooking 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and
add
vanilla.
Place
pecans
individually on waxed paper. Cool completely.
Yields 2 cups.
