Christmas Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. plain flour, sifted
    1 lb. chopped pecans
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 (4 oz.) can moist coconut
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Coat nuts and cherries with small portion of the flour.
    Stir remaining flour into creamed mixture. Add nuts, cherries and coconut; mix well.
    Turn into well-greased tube pan.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours.
