Mama Artie'S Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 c. sweet milk

Preparation

Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in bowl. Add beaten egg and milk.
Pour into a preheated iron skillet greased with 1 tablespoon oil.
Bake in 450\u00b0 oven until brown.
