Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 baked pie shell
almonds or chocolate shavings for garnish
Preparation

Melt butter in small saucepan.
Melt chocolate separately in a double boiler.
Set over hot water.
Mix chocolate, butter and sugar in a mixer on high speed for 8 minutes, then add eggs, one at a time.
Fill pie shell with chocolate mixture and chill 3 to 4 hours.
Garnish pie with almonds or chocolate.
