Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, cut up
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    4 large eggs, lightly beaten
    2 1/2 finely chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients.
    Cut in 3/4 cup butter. (A pastry blender or 2 knives can be used.)
    Press this mixture in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 17 to 20 minutes until light brown.
