Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie shell
    2 c. cooked squash or 3 eggs
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. mace
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Strain squash; add other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Pour into pastry lined pie plate and bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 35 minutes.
    Pie is done when knife inserted in center of custard comes out clean.
