The Cake That Won'T Last! - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 (4 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    1 1/2 c. coconut
    5 or 6 bananas
    1 carton Cool Whip
    chopped pecans
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed according to box.
    While cake is baking, mix crushed pineapple with sugar and boil 5 minutes.
    When cake is done, punch holes in top and pour pineapple mixture over cake.
    Cool cake.
    Mix instant pudding as directed and pour over cake.
    Sprinkle coconut over pudding.
    Place sliced bananas over coconut.
    Cover with Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped nut meats.
    Chill before serving.
    Keep refrigerated.
