Old Sage Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 rounded Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    pinch of salt
    1 1/4 c. chopped apples
    2/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat the egg whites stiff, then add the yolk and beat again. Beat in sugar. Then when all is mixed, spread in greased pie plate and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1/2 hour. Crust is unnecessary as mixture forms own crust. Serve warm with whipped cream.
