Angel Flake Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside.
    Mix dry ingredients, cutting in the shortening as you would do for a pie crust.
    Stir in the buttermilk and water/yeast mixture.
    Blend thoroughly; the dough is now ready to be refrigerated or made into biscuits.
