Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 crumb or pastry 8-inch pie shell
    1 can (1 1/3 c.) sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind or 1/4 tsp. lemon extract
    2 eggs, separated
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar, if desired
    4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Blend together milk, lemon juice, grated lemon rind or lemon extract and egg yolks.
    Pour into chilled crust or cooked pastry shell.
    Add cream of tartar to egg whites.
    Beat until almost stiff enough to peak.
    Put in sugar gradually, beating until stiff but not dry.
    Pile lightly on pie filling.
    Bake in slow oven (325\u00b0) until lightly browned, about 15 minutes.
    Cool.
