Shrimp Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. chopped green onions
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
2 large spoonfuls flour
1/4 tsp. red pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cans shrimp, drained
Preparation

Mix flour in oil and brown until dark brown.
Stir constantly. Add onions and peppers and mix well until wilted.
Lower heat and add shrimp.
Do not stir too much.
Add 1 quart water and let it cook slowly, about 1 hour.
