Fried Carrots And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium carrots
    6 tart apples
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Scrape carrots and cut lengthwise into thin slices.
    Pare the apples, core and cut into slices about 1/4 inch thick.
    Melt butter in a large skillet. Place a single layer of the apples and the carrots in a large skillet when the butter has melted. Cover tightly and cook until browned.
    Turn and brown other side.
    Just before cooking is finished sprinkle with sugar and salt.
    Serve on a hot platter.
