Jean'S Chiquita'S Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken, quartered
    1 small onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 c. milk
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can green chilies, seeded and chopped
    12 tortillas, cut in half
Preparation
    Cook chicken about 45 minutes.
    Cut chicken; add 1/2 cup water.
    Saute the onion in the oil.
    Add both cans of soup.
    Then blend in the milk and cheese.
    Heat until the cheese is melted. Add half cup broth and chilies, chopped with seeds removed. Always remember it is these chili seeds that clear your sinuses and set fire to your tonsils.
    Cut tortillas into strips.
    Layer on greased casserole dish.
    Pour sauce on top.
    Then layer of chicken.
    Continue to layer tortillas, sauce and chicken until you run out of things to work with.
