Blue Ribbon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    5 large eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
    Add flour and milk alternately.
    Stir in flavoring.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes; then reduce heat to 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
