Champagne Peaches(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium peaches
    1 pt. your favorite dry champagne
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Dip 12 peaches into boiling water for 1/2 minute; remove and rinse in cold water.
    Peel peaches and cut into 1/2-inch thick slices.
    Sweeten peaches with 1/2 cup sugar in bowl; mix well by hand.
    Chill.
    Put peaches in table size serving dish.
    Pour champagne over peaches.
    Let chill until time to serve.
