Imitation Crab Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 block butter or margarine
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    8 or more fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 to 2 lb. imitation crab, shredded
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. monosodium glutamate (optional)
    6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 pkg. garlic and cheese croutons
    1/4 pkg. frozen peas (optional)
Preparation
    In
    large
    pot, melt butter or margarine.
    Saute onion, celery and mushrooms.
    Add imitation crab and seasonings; mix well.
    Add eggs
    and\tmayonnaise; mix well.
    Add croutons and peas;
    mix well.
    Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan or casserole dish (spray
    with Pam
    first).
    Pan
    should remain covered for the first 30 minutes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
