Dutch Hot Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. shredded cabbage
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. light cream (I use evaporated milk)
Preparation
    Cook cabbage and drain. Keep hot.
    Melt margarine in double boiler.
    Add remaining ingredients except cream.
    Cook, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat.
    Add cream.
    Beat until smooth. Pour over cabbage.
