Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 level tsp. soda
    1 heaping Tbsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs, beaten separately
    4 Tbsp. buttermilk
    flour (enough to make batter to roll out)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Roll out about 1/8-inch.
    Cut with cookie cutter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
    Makes a tub full.
