Lentil Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 ham bone
2 1/2 c. lentils (16 oz.)
8 c. water
salt
pepper
1 c. onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
-
Put bone and lentils in pot with water.
Bring to boil; cover and simmer 1 hour.
Add seasoning to taste, onions and garlic. Simmer covered 30 minutes.
