Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
    8 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Place first 4 ingredients in 2-quart pan.
    Bring to boil. Stir constantly for 5 minutes.
    Do not over cook.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla; stir.
    Add soda; stir.
    Pour over popcorn and mix until all kernels are covered.
    Spread on cookie sheets.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Store in airtight container.
