Island Delight - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter softened
2 c. sifted flour
2 c. C & H light brown sugar, divided
3 eggs, well-beaten
1/4 c. Gold Medal flour
2 c. C & H dark brown sugar
2 c. shredded coconut
2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. C & H powdered sugar, sifted
Preparation

Mix together butter, 2 c. sifted flour and 1 c. light brown sugar.
Spread evenly in jellyroll pan and bake for 12 minutes at 350.
Cool.
Mix remaining ingredients, except powdered sugar and pour on cooled crust.
Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until slightly set.
Do not overbake.
Cool thoroughly.
When totally cool, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and cut into small squares.
