Turkey Rose - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cubed cooked turkey or chicken
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 medium onion, diced
    1/3 c. flour
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 c. wine (white or Rose)
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1 c. cooked frozen peas
    1/3 c. slivered almonds
    1/8 tsp. white pepper (optional)
    2 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Melt butter; saute onion until tender.
    Stir in flour; add broth and wine.
    Cook until thick.
    Add turkey, mushrooms, peas, almonds and pepper.
    Heat through.
    Serve over rice.
