Meringue Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg whites (at room temperature)
pinch of salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. flavoring
Preparation

Beat egg whites and salt, adding sugar a little at a time. Beat until mixture is very stiff.
Add cream of tartar and fold in chocolate chips and flavoring. Preheat oven to 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Drop cookies on ungreased cookie sheets.
Turn off oven. Put cookies in oven and leave overnight or at least 6 hours.
(Do not open oven.)
Makes about 3 dozen.
