Play Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. salt
    6 tsp. cream of tartar
    3 c. cool water
    3 Tbsp. oil
    food coloring
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients in big pot.
    Blend all liquids together. Pour into dry ingredients; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat when dough pulls away from sides of pot and can be pinched without sticking (about 5 minutes).
    Turn onto counter; knead until smooth.
    Store in airtight container. Pastel colors make better colors.
    Keeps up to a year.
    If it becomes sticky, add a little flour.
