Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 6 pared apples, diced or sliced
1 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1 unbeaten egg
1/3 c. butter or shortening, melted
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Preparation

Place apples in 6 x 10-inch dish. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and egg together with fork until crumbly and sprinkle over apples. Pour butter or shortening over apple mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0. Can serve warm with cream.
