Cheese Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    3 c. crisp rice cereal
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, cream butter until fluffy.
    Slowly mix in flour, salt and pepper.
    Stir in cheese and cereal.
    Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 17 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Serve warm or cold.
    Yield:
    3 dozen.
