Bavarian Cream Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    5 egg yolks
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. hot milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. cream, whipped
    12 ladyfingers
Preparation
    Soften the gelatin in water a few minutes. Beat yolks and sugar until very light. Add the softened gelatin. Cook in double boiler until the mixture coats the spoon, stirring constantly. Let cool. Add vanilla and fold in the whipped cream. Turn into a mold lined with ladyfingers.
    Let stand several hours to chill. Serve with fresh fruit, caramel or chocolate sauce.
